Amberly + Derek | Married!
When I think of Amberly and Derek there is a word that comes to mind and that’s, genuine. From the moment these two were in front of the camera during their engagement session, it was just so effortless. Their wedding day was no different. Their love has so much friendship behind it and I think that’s one of the many reasons why they make such a great couple. They are each other’s biggest supporters and their moments are so wonderfully candid. All they wanted from their big day was to have a fun day, filled with moments that just happened. And that’s exactly what they got and more!
From the cutest animals that peeked in on their first look, Amberly’s emotional first look with her dad, the way her sister so tenderly helped her transform into a beautiful bride, and the touching ways Amberly’s mom was present during her big day. Although she could not be there physically, her mom was there through the reserved chair during the ceremony, her bridal gown was elegantly displayed, as well as her beautiful bridal portrait from her own wedding day. She was there in more ways than one and so graciously honored by all.
One of the biggest moments of the day was the surprise firework show in the middle of the reception! Amberly looked towards the sky with tears in her eyes and so much shock as her father ended their day with beautiful bright colors raining down upon them. What a wonderful gift to the two of them as well as a wonderful treat for their guests! Way to go, Father of the Bride! Be sure to check out those shots in this blog!
And can we chat about Amberly’s beautiful fall palette?! The vendor team did an amazing job! The elegance mixed into this beautiful rustic setting was a perfect balance. Also, I wish every wedding could have little apple pies on a stick. Those were YUM!
