Meghan and Patrick met at the University of Connecticut through mutual friends. On their wedding day, it was easy to see how many of those friends they have still kept in touch with. They had flags, such as UConn, and grabbed everyone who went there for a group photo. What a special way to include your guests! Their bridal party was such a fun group. They even rode around in a party bus! And that reception, wow! It was a night of celebrating and one that no one could ever forget! Their wedding day was just like Meghan and Patrick, fun-loving.
Right now, they have started a new adventure in Toronto, Canada together. Before the wedding, they were living on the water in Boston together. Patrick picked Meghan up from work one day and pulled into a parking lot near one of the docks. He told her he wanted to “look at some Christmas lights.” After gazing at the city and Christmas lights together, Pat got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
Having their family all together in one place on their wedding day was very special to the two of them. I could tell they really tried to make the most of that time. Meghan laughed so much, you couldn’t help but smile with her! We saw rain just after their beautiful catholic ceremony, but the sun came out as soon as we pulled into the Atlanta Country Club for their portraits and reception. The timing could not have been better.
I am so glad that they had a beautiful wedding day! Hoping newlywed life has been amazing, Mr. and Mrs. Swidler!
